Today I want to talk about face primer because it is essential to my daily makeup routine!
Lately, I have been using the Neutrogena Shine Control Primer. When I first used it, I was shocked at how moisturizing it was! It is especially great for wintertime, as my face often dries out very horribly!
The packaging is flat, which is fantastic for daily carrying. Anything created in a big round shape takes up loads of space in your makeup bag and makes you not want to carry it. This one I always have with me, and it fits into my bag almost like it doesn’t exist!
I purposely didn’t blend in thoroughly because I think you wouldn’t be able to see it then. It does give a slight off-white after application, but it is pretty much invisible.
As I said, it’s moisturizing, so I love it. It feels so comfortable to my skin does not give me any breakout, which is a massive plus, of course!
As for durability with makeup, I am not sure right now. I have combination skin, so the same product may not work for me during different seasons. Even though it is supposedly winters, lately, it has been sweltering, with 80-some degrees outside, melting my makeup. The makeup extension power is probably average and probably on the better side if you have drier skin.
I am glad to find more drug store products that provide budget solutions with good results!
